"Once you've gone through the process, the story almost writes itself."
"The extremely comprehensive tool helped me to structure my story clearly and concisely right from the start.
Superbly done, great graphics. I can already imagine that the system will be extremely helpful.
Alongside language, structure is known to be the most important technical foundation for stories that work. With these tools, you can build the structure of your story step by step right up to the finished plot.
Especially in the downloads you will find a wide range of inspirational impulses to make your characters, their sources of conflict and your story rich and thus a moving experience for your audience.
A development process is about a densely woven carpet of multi-colored threads on which we juggle a huge number of balls. It is all too easy to overlook something. The schedule of the toolset does not miss a single step.
Different tools lead to new, varied and often better solutions than always sticking to the same method. In the toolbox, you always have a wide range of tools to hand so that you are optimally equipped and flexible.
There's plenty of digital writing software out there, great products that I use enthusiastically myself. But only after the development work.
Working creatively by hand, with paper and writing utensils, produces better results than on digital devices. You can experience this for yourself, it's scientifically proven. Many well-known authors - from Barack Obama to Quentin Tarantino - write their entire manuscripts by hand.
You also have a better overview and don't have the limited space of a screen. This is exactly why all professionals swear by the good old corkboard as the heart of their work. And that's why the Bulletproof Story Development Tool was designed as an analog tool. Sure, it's digitally practical, but we want to work excellently and not practically, right?
You can use these tools for stories of any kind and all genres, for any medium and format, for fiction, documentaries, non-fiction or marketing content. Of course, not the entire tool set is necessary for every area of application.
You first create a simple sketch and then work it step by step into a lively, colorful picture. This way, you won't overlook any important elements in the development and won't end up in chaos.
You work from the inside out, starting with the theme of the story and ending with the finished plot. Because stories only become effective through a touching theme!
It's as simple as it is efficient. The process guides you step by step to the perfect result with numerous powerful tools:
1 You describe the inner story: why you want to tell something and for whom. The topic as the central idea and your perspective are therefore clear to you.
2 You gather all the factual information about the story you want to tell - its world, genre, conventions, language, places, time, etc.
3 You discover and describe everything you can about the character(s) in order to understand them in their multidimensional depth and activate the central idea through the story of their transformation. You therefore know their backstory, their motives, their desires, wounds, fears and mistakes, i.e. the rich source of your story, including the necessary conflicts.
4 You work out the logline - so now you have the pitch for your story ready in its compact form.
5 You build the nine supporting pillars of the story on the logline.
6 You connect the supporting pillars of your heroine's inner story - the journey - in other words, you create the chain of transformation steps that the heroine experiences. Described from her perspective, i.e. in a chronologically real sequence.
7 You build the plot of the story from the journey - the chain of events in the order in which the audience experiences them. Linear or in flashbacks, parallel plots, with insertions, changes of narrative perspectives, from the end to the front, etc., just as you like.
What have I learned for your story from mine? Quite a lot. Decisive things that will soon provide you with indispensable services in your work!
Take the direct route, save yourself time and detours and share your story with the world.

More InformationAs an author, I'm constantly moving back and forth between formats, genres, media and industries, and I usually have my writing materials on several workbenches at the same time. This has come about at some point, although most of us tend to specialize. This tension makes me dynamic as an author, but at the same time demands the highest level of professionalism. If you're not flexible, fast and at the same time analytical, strategic and technically confident, you'll quickly get bogged down in the daily flow.
I quickly realized that the best way to create the greatest possible freedom for the creative will is through the very best preparation and that everything together simply produces better results than simply working without a plan, which we all love so much. So I created a lot of work aids, which I improved and professionalized over the years.
With these tools and the process, I create clarity and focus for myself about what I actually want to tell or where I want to lead, move or accompany and stay focused in my story. This applies to every format and genre, because the story mechanism works universally at its core. But I don't tie myself down in any way, because it's always possible and often necessary to change something. This toolbox contains "tools not rules".
I use this tool for almost everything I develop - for the entire panorama of fiction writing from film scripts, TV series, stage or fiction to documentaries, non-fiction books, blog articles, podcast episodes, magazine articles, presentations, lectures and keynotes, script doctoring and editing to brand stories, marketing content and advertising campaigns, workshop concepts and even coaching and mentoring.
